Our History

Founded in 2007, Headzup Inc. began as a small warehouse design & permit expediting operation in Hackensack, NJ with just one employee and one mission: to provide outstanding customer service in an industry where this was far from the norm. This singular focus became the foundation upon which Headzup’s outstanding reputation was built. Over the course of those first few years, we developed a solid base of loyal customers, including several Fortune 1000 companies, and gradually expanded our product and service offerings in order to continuously add value to our clients. A decade later that small one-man operation has developed into one of the fastest growing material handling companies on the East Coast with offices in NY & NJ, and over 40 employees throughout the tri-state area.

Today, Headzup is still the go-to company for permits, but we’re also so much more. From conceptual warehouse design to structural engineering and installation, we offer complete, end-to-end warehouse infrastructure solutions. We also sell every type of warehouse storage and conveyance solution available, from simple selective pallet rack systems to complex, structural mezzanines and everything in between. We have in-house design, engineering, and project management teams located in our company headquarters in Secaucus, NJ and a full-scale manufacturing & refurbishing facility in Walden, NY; so whether you need something new, something used, or simply something fixed, we can take care of it.

In addition to our retail services and product offerings, Headzup also operates one of the largest new and used equipment purchasing operations in the NY/NJ area; buying and selling millions of dollars worth of goods annually and managing warehouse dismantling and re-sale projects as far West as the Mississippi River. Our purchasing division boasts over 10,000 dealer and liquidator contacts nationwide, giving us real-time visibility into wholesale and retail equipment pricing throughout the continental United States and ensuring that our customers always get the best price for their materials. And thanks to our 30-acre storage facility in upstate New York, Headzup can also boast one of the largest inventories of new pallet racking anywhere in the country, effectively reducing our equipment lead times from months to just a few days for even the largest of warehouse buildout.
